But I'm not telling which bits they are. What fun would that be?

Also, don't ever let anyone tell you that you didn't experience things you know you did, and don't let them tell you that they're just "anecdotal evidence" and don't mean anything. I know I've had experiences that I just basically don't tell anyone about because I know they'll try to convince me that I didn't have them. I was there, and I know they did.littlemissattitudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09826943351455750612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10292815.post-88512386319515704512010-03-22T21:25:39.959-07:002010-03-22T21:25:39.959-07:00It's interesting. I'm not much of a religious believer, but I've had enough experiences with things that rationalists insist just cannot be that I cannot dismiss things like you describe out of hand.

Incidentally, the ending of the story took me completely by surprise and I only realized that the narrator was going to reveal that she had had the same experience as I was writing it. Kind of weirds me out when stuff like that happens when I'm writing, but I kind of hold with the Alice Walker school of writing. Ms. Walker insists that her characters come to her and tell her their stories and she just writes them out for them.littlemissattitudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09826943351455750612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10292815.post-25918445515590119702010-03-22T16:45:59.584-07:002010-03-22T16:45:59.584-07:00If a person told me something like that, I would b...If a person told me something like that, I would believe her. Only because when my father was dying in the hospital, everyone had been sitting around waiting for him to draw his last breath. My mom's friend sat next to me praying silently. Suddenly I this flash of light flew across the room. I asked if anyone else saw it, but they hadn't. But then my mom's friend said I was just praying that an angel would come and tell your father that it was okay to go. At that moment, my father breathed his last breath. I know it was an angel.McMGrad89https://www.blogger.com/profile/01724953414601437820noreply@blogger.com
